The products developed using VIASKIN^® represent a real technological and medical advance as they can be applied by either the patient themselves or the doctor and then interpreted easily.

DBV Technologies’ engineers and R&D teams continue to refine and adapt the delivery systems according to the needs of each application and individual compounds.

DBV Technologies has several VIAKSIN^® programmes in various stages of development:

Diagnostic
Diagnostic tests for soya allergy are in preclinical trials while tests for dust mite and wheat allergies are in Phase II clinical trials. Diallertest^® Milk, for the diagnosis of cow’s milk allergy has been commercialised and has been sold as a medical device in France as well as over 20 other countries since June 2004.
Allergy desensitisation
DBV Technologies’ allergy desensitisation treatment is the first in kind to present a non-bloodstream allergen treatment. Application of VIASKIN^® technology ensures the required allergen is delivered in a quantifiable amount to the immune cells of the epidermis, thereby avoiding the risk of anaphylactic shock.
Epicutaneous administration of vaccines
DBV Technologies is developing prophylactic vaccination programmes for Hepatitis A and B, Meningitis, Typhoid, flu, and Shigella, as well as therapeutic oncology vaccines.
Epidermal treatment applications or cosmaceuticals
DBV Technologies is currently in discussions with large global cosmetics companies with regards to the use of VIASKIN^® technology for cosmaceutical epidermal therapies.
