DBV Technologies introduces the Electrospray Deposit process dedicated to the production of dry deposits of substances from liquid formulations. Taking advantage of the characteristics and qualities of electro sprays, DBV Technologies has developed a multi-nozzle production tool allowing a mass ranging from a few to several hundred micrograms per cm2 to be deposited. In adapted formulation, chemical and biological substances are able to be deposited.
Ideal for cutaneous devices requiring an immediate release of an active ingredient, Electrospray can be applied for coating every conductive part of a film or a device. Also, thanks to the electric field lines that guide the droplets right to the target, this conductive part is precisely coated, without any loss of substance.
Playing with different process parameters, the deposit can be either a spot or a homogenous layer. The know-how of DBV technologies includes the deposit on polymer and even on non-conductive films.
