DBV Technologies has developed and patented two unique manufacturing processes able to fix active dry compounds onto a polymeric backing film by electrostatic forces alone, eliminating the need for adhesives or excipients: Electrospray and Static Powder Technology. DBV first developed these manufacturing technologies during the development of its allergy diagnosis product Diallertest® Milk.
