Directions for Use
The Diallertest® kit consists of two applicators – one containing a milk allergen, the other a control test. The kit also contains a marker pen specially adapted for use in infants and a detailed instruction leaflet.
The novel applicator system enables easy application without any risk of incorrect manipulation.
It is directly and painlessly applied onto the child’s back either at the doctor’s office or by the parents at home. It is removed 48 hours later by the child’s parents. After another 24 hours has elapsed, the doctor examines the child’s back for results.

Directions for use The two Diallertest® applicators (test and control) within the package must be applied on the upper region of the baby’s back since the shoulder area has many reactive cells. The test is a comparative reading between the control and the active test which contains powdered milk. When the 72 hours have elapsed, result interpretation is extremely simple and precise: comparative reading of both reactions to the patches. |

Test is positive (confirmed allergy) The skin is noticeably redder on the side where the Diallertest® applicator containing powdered milk was placed compared to the control applicator. When the reaction to the active piece is more important than the control, then the test is positive. |

Test is negative No redness or only slight local redness but no noticeable difference between the active piece and the control. When there is no significant difference between the reactions to both pieces, or if there is no visible reaction, then the test is negative. |
