A key application of VIASKIN^® technology is for the diagnosis of food allergies. DBV Technologies currently manufactures the world’s first ready-to-use test for the diagnosis of cow’s milk allergy, Diallertest^® Milk, and is currently developing similar diagnostic products for wheat, soya and dust mite allergies.

DBV Technologies is also developing the first epicutaneous desensitisation treatment for food allergies. Application of VIASKIN^® technology has been proven to deliver quantifiable amounts of allergens to the immune cells of the epidermis without crossing the blood barrier and thereby avoiding the risk of anaphylactic shock.

In addition, DBV Technologies is developing unique products for the following high growth markets: epicutaneous administration of vaccines and epidermal therapies for the cosmaceutical market.
